Remote digital signatures from certSIGN
certSIGN develops digital identity and trust services in Romania. Its remote-signature offering uses a qualified digital certificate held in the cloud, with an authorization mechanism controlled by the certificate holder. The provider's paperLESS webSIGN service is part of this cloud-signing environment.
Nota Sign supports certSIGN qualified electronic signatures (QES) and electronic identity authentication. The remote credential supplies the personal signing capability, while document review and completion take place in Nota Sign.
Establish the certificate holder's identity
For the online certificate-enrollment route described by certSIGN, the applicant completes video identification using an accepted original identity document. The process requires a camera, microphone, internet connection and mobile phone. certSIGN reviews the identification session before the applicant proceeds with the certificate setup.
This preparation is relevant to a first-time certificate holder. An existing user prepares the established signing identity and its authorization method for the new document request; receiving another document does not itself require fresh certificate enrollment.
Configure cloud signature authorization
After identification is accepted, certSIGN sends instructions to the email address used for the certificate application. Its published cloud setup associates a supported authenticator app with the holder's account. The holder also activates the cloud account, validates the associated phone number and sets an account password.
The provider describes certificate issuance during the first cloud-account sign-in, using an authorization code generated by the app. These steps establish access to the remote certificate before it is used for document approvals. The official certSIGN website provides the current cloud setup and certificate support instructions.
Complete certSIGN signing in Nota Sign
Review the Nota Sign document and fill in the required fields. Continue with the configured certSIGN method, complete the requested authentication and authorize the signature with the established remote credential. Finish the document workflow in Nota Sign after approval. Keep access to the authorization method associated with your certificate throughout the signing request.
