FPT certificates for digital document signing
FPT provides electronic certification services for Vietnamese digital transactions. In Nota Sign, the personal-signature journey uses an FPT certificate to connect a verified signer with the document they approve. Certificate application and authorization of a signature are separate parts of that journey.
The documented integration uses a short-term certificate. A signer who already holds a valid certificate can proceed to authorization, while a signer without one completes the certificate-application process first. This distinction helps avoid repeating identity registration when a valid credential can still be used.
Complete the first certificate application
Open the Nota Sign signing request, review the document and complete its required fields. Select FPT when continuing to digital signing.
If you need a certificate, provide the requested name, identity-document details and contact information. The journey then opens FPT SIC Web for identity verification and the short-term certificate application. After returning to Nota Sign, allow the certificate lookup to complete before continuing.

Authorize signing and reuse a valid certificate
Continue to FPT SIC Web to complete the OTP authorization requested for the signature. Nota Sign receives the signature and certificate details to complete the digital signing of the document.
During the certificate's validity period, subsequent documents can use the existing credential and proceed directly to signing authorization. If that certificate has expired, a new application is required. Reusing a certificate does not remove the need to approve a new signing action.
