Intesi Group's digital signatures and certificates
Intesi Group is an Italian certification authority providing digital certificates, electronic signature software, remote signing and digital identity services. Its products support both individual signers and organisations, with cloud services and software used to bring certificate-backed approvals into digital document workflows.
A personal signature and an enterprise electronic seal serve different purposes. A personal certificate identifies the individual who approves a document; an enterprise certificate supports a seal that identifies the organisation. Keeping those roles separate helps a business choose the appropriate credential for its approval or document-issuance process.
Intesi signing and sealing in Nota Sign
Nota Sign supports Intesi advanced and qualified electronic signatures as well as enterprise electronic seals. Recipients review the document and complete the signing process in Nota Sign, with Intesi providing the certificate-based signing or sealing capability.
Bind and use an Intesi enterprise seal
For the enterprise-seal flow, start with an existing Intesi enterprise digital certificate and an Intesi account.
- In Nota Sign, go to Administration → Electronic Seal and add an electronic seal.
- Choose to bind an existing enterprise certificate, select Intesi Enterprise Digital Seal and continue to binding.
- Sign in to Intesi to complete the certificate binding.
- When signing the envelope in Nota Sign, finish the required fields, submit the document and select Intesi. Enter the requested credentials to authorise the seal.
Binding an enterprise certificate is not the same as applying for a personal signing certificate. The Nota Sign Intesi enterprise-seal guide provides the corresponding signing and administration instructions.
