TradeSign within KTNET's trade services
KTNET operates South Korea's digital trade infrastructure, connecting businesses with services used in trade, logistics and electronic commerce. Its TradeSign certification service adds digital identity credentials to that environment. KTNET's official service information distinguishes certificates for businesses, certificates for individuals and SSL certificates for servers.
Those categories matter when preparing digital signatures. A server certificate protects a different part of an electronic service from the credential used to approve a document. Likewise, a business certificate and a personal certificate identify different subjects, so the credential should match the role in which the document is being signed.
Prepare the appropriate certificate
Use the TradeSign signing credential intended for your transaction and make sure it is available before you begin in Nota Sign. Certificate application, issuance and management are separate from authorising a particular document. Having completed an application does not itself complete a signing request.
The KTNET official website provides the starting point for its certification services. Follow the provider's current guidance for certificate preparation; the document approval takes place in the Nota Sign workflow.
Complete KTNET signing in Nota Sign
Nota Sign supports KTNET document signing. Review the document and fill in the information assigned to you. When KTNET is the configured CA method, continue with that method and provide the authorisation requested for your signing credential.
Finish the remaining signing process in Nota Sign and check that the document shows completion. This joins the TradeSign credential to a specific approval while keeping credential administration separate from the business document you are signing.
