Latvia's identity credentials on your phone
eParaksts Mobile connects a dedicated mobile app to the user's national identity credentials. The service is provided by Latvijas Valsts radio un televīzijas centrs (LVRTC), Latvia's state-owned radio and television centre, and forms part of the country's electronic identity ecosystem.
Its mobile route supports both strong authentication and qualified electronic signatures (QES). The app can therefore be used for different purposes: proving identity to an online service or authorising a document signature. Check which action is being requested when you use it.
Prepare the mobile method
Have the eParaksts Mobile app connected to your own identity credentials and ready to use. This preparation belongs to the identity service; it is separate from completing the fields in a Nota Sign document.
The eParaksts family also includes the physical Latvian eID card. The mobile method uses the dedicated application, so choose the method that matches the credentials you actually have. The official eParaksts website lists the mobile and card products and provides access to current product guidance.
Authorise digital signatures in Nota Sign
Nota Sign supports the eParaksts Mobile signing method. Begin by reviewing the document and entering the information required from you. Continue with eParaksts Mobile when it is the configured CA method, then follow the requested authorisation in the mobile service.
Return to the document journey and complete it in Nota Sign. Check the final completion state rather than treating a successful identity check as the whole signing process. The mobile app supplies the identity-linked approval; Nota Sign remains where you review and finish the document workflow.
