Remote identity and qualified signing with ZealiD
ZealiD brings identity enrolment and certificate-based signing together in a mobile application. Its official service information describes remote self-service registration and qualified electronic signatures within the EU eIDAS framework. The provider's identity work establishes the person behind the credential before that credential is used to approve documents.
The app also supports biometric signing features such as Face ID or Touch ID on suitable devices. These features are ways to authorize use of the signing identity; they do not replace reading and approving the document itself.
Prepare your ZealiD signing identity
Complete the identity-registration process required for your ZealiD account and keep access to the app on your device. Follow the provider's current eligibility and document requirements, since a published list of supported nationalities or documents may change.
Registration and a signature are separate events. Establishing an identity does not approve all future documents, and a request to sign should still be checked against the transaction you intend to complete. ZealiD's wider identity-wallet and collaboration products are not additional prerequisites for this Nota Sign signing route.
Use the ZealiD App from Nota Sign
Nota Sign supports the ZealiD qualified electronic signature method. Start with the document in Nota Sign, read its contents and complete the required fields. Continue with ZealiD and respond to the corresponding identity or signature request in the app.
Review the request before authorizing it using the method presented on your device. After approval, complete the document journey in Nota Sign. The mobile app provides the signing approval while Nota Sign remains the place where the document workflow is handled.
